Ever wanted to use a Gotek drive to emulate a floppy disk on your Apple ][ computer? Well now you can.
This adapter was designed to work with the Apple version of HxC Floppy Emulator firmware by Jean-françois Del Nero.
Included are the 20 to 34 pin adapter, ribbon cable, interconnect wires, and pin headers. Fully assembled, but soldering may be required on customer provided Gotek drive depending on the model. Gotek drive not included.
This adapter was designed by 8bitdevices using the CAD model for the Gotek drive. Unlike other adapter projects you may have seen in videos, the connector alignment on our adapter is correct and will not cause bent pins on your Gotek drive.
The HxC Floppy Emulator software is available at the HxC2001 web site and is not provided by 8bitdevices. Please review the requirements and installation directions before ordering. Soldering is required to utilize the track and sector display feature on Gotek drive displays, and in some cases to load the HxC firmware. 8bitdevices does not provide support for HxC software.
